Jatropha spathulata, muell. arg. (Modnna spathulata, Ort.). Tocote Prieto. Shrub, 1-15 ft. high, stoloniferous: branches fleshy: lvs. sessile, nearly glabrous, spatulate, entire or 3-lobed: fls. in fascicles, dioecious, pale rose-color; ovary 1-3-celled: caps, usually 1-seeded. Texas to Cent. Amer.—Sometimes seen in succulent collections.
