Sts. erect, 6-9 in. long, bisulcate above, much compound: lvs. of lower plane oblong-lanceolate, dark green, very unequal-sided, serrulate on the upper edge; lvs. of upper plane one-half to one-third as long, ovate or ovate-lanceolate, cuspidate.
