Gynandropsis speciosa, DC. (Cleome speciosa, HBK.). Stiff annual, or perhaps a perennial, usually about 2 ft. and rather velvety toward the top: lfts. 5-7, subserrulate, oblong, acuminate: fls. violet, showy. Mex.
