Hedysarum obscurum, Linn. (H. neglectum, Ledeb.). Small, usually about 6-12 in. high: lfts. 5-9 pairs, ovate, glabrous: fls. purple, pendulous in long spikes. Eu. B.M. 282.—It is said to vary to white. L.H.B.
