Malvastrum campanulatum, Nichols. (Malva campanulata, Paxt. Malva purpurata, Lindl.). Two ft. or less high, hairy: lvs. pedately 3-7-lobed, the lobes deeply cut and toothed: fls. rose-purple, an inch across, in a loose terminal raceme, blooming until killed by frost; bractlets very narrow.
