Mammillaria carnea, Zucc. Body dark green: tubercles rather large, pyramidal, 4-angled: radial usually none, rarely 1-2; centrals commonly 4, in upright cross, stiff, grayish, with darker tip, in young growth dark brown or reddish: fls. reddish flesh-color. Mex.
