Edible plant of the month Chives are a very easy to grow virtually anywhere, are perennial, and make a nice addition to countless dishes - from salads to soups and meals... as well as of course the baked potato. Grown from corms or seed, these plants can do well indoors in pots in a windowsill or in the garden, dug up each winter in colder areas.
