Gilia aggregata, Spreng. (Ipomopsis elegans, Lindl.). Differs in mostly shorter stature, pubescent st., and more slender habit, with redder (sometimes white) fragrant fls., with acute and reflexing corolla-lobes. Neb., south and west. B.R. 1281.—The fls. are fiery scarlet or sometimes nearly white. A very showy biennial.
