Iris fumosa, Boiss. & Hausskn. Lvs. about 10: st. 6 in. long: outer segms. spatulate-oblanceolate, recurved above the middle, claw with a yellow crest; inner segms. minute, spatulate, toothed. The fls. are greenish yellow, shaded with smoky gray. Dry fields, Syria. Perhaps a variety of I. sindjarensis.
