Sapium pavonianum, Huber (S. utile, Preuss. S. biglandulosum, Muell. Arg. in part). Palo De Leche. Tree, 30-50 ft. high: lvs. oblong, lanceolate, or oblanceolate: spikes solitary, elongate: style cylindrical, not persistent on the caps.: the seeds with red, aril-like covering, soon separating from the central column.
