Laeliocattleya andreana. A garden hybrid between C. bicolor and Lc. elegans. Pseudobulbs 8-12 in. long, st.- like: lvs. oblong, 6 in. long: fls. 6-7 in. across, rose- violet; sepals and petals spreading, narrowly oblong, with the margins recurved, those of the petals undulate; labellum contracted in the middle, with a subquadrate toothed and undulate middle lobe, violet-purple.
