Saxifraga haagei, Sunderm. (S. sancta x S. Ferdinandi- Coburgi). This more nearly resembles the latter parent. Its habit is very compact, its foliage is similar and glaucous: fl.-sts. 2-3 in. high, bracted, tinged red-brown and glandular-hairy: fls. golden yellow, 4-5 to a st., clustered in heads. March, April. A garden hybrid. Gn. 78, p. 170. CH
