A glabrous vine 6-18 ft, high: petioles longer than the lfts.; lfts. 5 or 6, smooth and shining, coriaceous, elliptic to broadly ovate, obtuse or very shortly acuminate: panicles lax, terminal: fls. greenish, 6-merous: fr. globose, fleshy. March, April. Philippines.—Occasionally cult. CH
