Pelargonium grandiflorum, Willd. Shrubby, glabrous and glaucous: lvs. long-stalked, strongly 3-7-nerved from the top of the petiole, deeply 5-7-lobed, the lobes broad and sharp-toothed, the stipules ovate and mucronte: fls. about 3 on each peduncle, the stalk-like calyx-tube 3-4 times as long as the lanceolate segms., the obovate white petals (upper 2 with red lines) 3 times as long as calyx-segms.—A handsome and distinct species, probably not now in cult, in its pure form.Intro. to England in 1794.
