Chamaebatiaria Millefolium, Maxim. (Spiraea Millefolium, Torr. Sorbaria Millefolium, Focke). Shrub, to 3 ft., glandular-pubescent: lvs. bipinnate, short-stalked, ovate- oblong to linear-oblong in outline, 2-3 in. long, primary segms. linear, deeply pinnatifid, with closely set obtuse lobes about a line long: fls. white, ½-2/3 in. across, short-pedicelled, in terminal panicles 3-6 in. long: carpels hairy.
