Pentstemon humilis, Nutt. Low, usually not over 6 in. tall, pubescent in the infl.: lvs. oblong to lanceolate, somewhat glaucous, the upper ones small-toothed: infl. 3-4 in. long, with 2-5-fld. peduncles; fls. 1/2 in. long, rather narrow, deep blue or sometimes ranging to white, the lower lip bearded within.
