Spiraea superba, Zabel (S. albiflora x S. corymbosa). Low shrub, with striped dark brown branches: lvs. elliptic-oblong to oblong, acute at both ends, simply or doubly serrate, almost glabrous, 1-3 in. long: fls. rather large, pink or almost whitish; disk prominent; petals orbicular or broadly obovate.
