Stachys lanata, Jacq. Woolly Woundwort. A hardy perennial 1 – 1 1/2 ft. high, white-woolly throughout: lvs. oblong-elliptical, the upper smaller, the uppermost much shorter and whorled: fls. small, purple, in dense 30- or more-fld. whorls in interrupted spikes.
