Clematoclethra Hemsleyi, Baill.Climbing.to20ft.: young branches pubescent at first, soon glabrous: Lvs. slender petioled, ovate to oblong- ovate, acuminate, denticulate, glabrous above, brownish pubescent on the veins beneath, 2-4 in. long: fls. white, about ½in.across, 4-12 in stalked axillary cymes: fr. globose, black, about ⅓in. across.
