Cunila mariana, Linn. (C. origanoides, Brit.). Maryland Dittany. Stone-mint. Height 1 ft.: Lvs. smooth, ovate, serrate, rounded or heart-shaped at the base, nearly sessile, dotted, 1 in. long: fls. purple-pink in a loose cymose cluster which is terminal. Dry hills, S. N.
