Trachycarpus martiana, H. Wendl. (T. Khasiana, H. Wendl. Chamaerops Martiana, Wall.). Trunk slender, tall, annulate-scarred, for the most part naked: lvs. nearly orbicular, divided to the middle into numerous segms.: female fls. solitary, sessile: fr. oblong-elliptic, rather compressed, rounded at both ends; seeds deeply sulcate. Himalaya region, Khasia, Burma, and Assam. CH
