Poinciana conzattii, Rose. Small tree, with grayish bark: lvs. glabrous, large, with commonly 4 pairs of pinnae; lfts. 4 or 5 pairs, oolong to obovate: infl. a sessile raceme: sepals highly colored, obtuse: petals yellowish red: pod scythe-shaped, pubescent. Max.—Cult, in Max. and S.Calif.
