Prinsepia palmita, E. Mey. St. stout, often forked, 2-4 in. in thickness, reaching a length of 5-6 ft.: lvs. linear, rigid, glabrous, 3—4 ft. long, in a dense rosette at summit of st.: infl. a large, dense, terminal panicle on long peduncle; perianth and bracts 1/8in. long.
