Erigeron alpinus, Lam. (E. Roylei, Hort.?). A dwarf species suitable for rock work: sts. hairy, bearing a single head of purplish fls.: lvs. acute, lanceolate, sometimes ciliate but otherwise entire. Northern regions. L.B.C. 6:590. —Suitable chiefly for alpine gardens. CH
