Hemionitis palmate, Linn. Strawberry Fern. Fig. 1807. Lf.-blades borne on tall stalks, palmate, 2-6 in. wide, with 5 nearly equal triangular divisions, those of the sterile lvs. less acute; surfaces pubescent. Reproduces by numerous buds as well as by spores. W. Indies, Mex., S. Amer.
