Whipplea modesta, Torr. Sarmentose; the long shoots with numerous short upright flowering branchlets, pubescent: lvs. broadly ovate to elliptic, acutish, with a few shallow teeth or nearly entire, appressed-hairy on both sides, 1/2 - 1 in. long: fls. white, about 1/5 in. across, in slender-stalked dense cymes 1/3 – 1/2 in. long. May. Ore., Calif.
