Pyrola picta, Smith. Height 5-10 in.: lvs. thick, broadly ovate to spatulate, dull, blotched with white above, pale or purplish beneath, longer than the petioles: calyx-lobes ovate, not one-half length of the greenish white petals. Pacific slope.
