Rosa minutifolia, Engelin. Fig. 3457. Dense shrub, to 4 ft. high : branchlets pubescent with slender brown prickles: lfts. 5-7, ovate to oblong, incisely dentate, pubescent, 1/6-1/2in. long: fls. short-pcdiceled, pink or white, about 1 in. across: fr. subglobose, hispid.
