Mammillaria fragilis, Salm. Sts. low, usually as broad or broader than high, extremely proliferous, the offsets so lightly attached that they soon fall by their own weight: radial spines 12-14, white; centrals none or 1, rarely 2, white, with dusky tip. Mex.
