Masdevallia estradae, Reichb. f. Very densely tufted: lvs. and petioles 3 in. long, the blade broad, spoon-shaped, and often retuse at the apex: peduncle usually somewhat exceeding the lvs., erect, 1-fld.; fl. of marked colors—the upper concave lobe yellow at base and violet- purple above, the lateral lobes violet-purple at base and white or straw-colored above; tails filiform, yellow; petals white, very small. Colombia. B.M. 6171.
