Odontoglossum ruckerianum, Reichb. f. Related to O. crispum: sepals and petals lanceolate, acute, creamy white, bordered with violet and spotted with brown, waved; labellum rather narrow, oblong, angular-lobed on each side of the base, yellow at base, with few chestnut- brown blotches; callus rhomboid serrate. Colombia. G.C. 1873:105; II. 24:204, 748 (var. insigne). J.H. III. 30:455 (var. splendens).
