Summary

Ephedra sinica (草麻黃) grown by me in a flowerpot. The plant is used as herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for symptoms of fever, chillness, and arthralgia or for some cases of edema, and it is also the source of ephedrine in the early days.
