Grösse; 1 Blüthenknospe, während des Aufblühens, mit abgehobenen Blumenblättern (links oben), vergrössert; 2 Blüthenknospe im Längsschnitt, desgl.; 3 Staubgefässe von verschiedenen Seiten, desgl.; 4 Pollen, desgl.; 5 Fruchtknoten im Querschnitt, desgl.; 6 Frucht, natürl. Grösse; 7 dieselbe im Querschnitt, mit Würzelchen und Samenlappen, desgl.; 8 Embryo, desgl.; 9 Ein Samenlappen mit Würzelchen, desgl.

Русский: Гвоздичное дерево. A — цветущая ветвь; 1 — бутон во время цветения, и отдельные лепестки (в левом верхнем углу); 2 — бутон в продольном разрезе; 3 — тычинка с разных сторон; 4 — пыльца; 5 — завязь в поперечном разрезе; 6 — плод (ягода); 7 — то же в поперечном разрезе, с корешком и семядолями зародыша; 8 — зародыш; 9 — семядоля зародыша с корешком.
