Eupatorium serotinum, Michx. An attractive species, 4-8 ft. high, with grayish white numerous fls. in a broad cymose infl.: branching, pubescent at least above: lvs. ovate-lanceolate, long-acuminate, 3-nerved, slender-petioled, sharp-serrate, the upper ones alternate: fls. 7-15 in the campanulate involucre, of which the bracts are obtuse or truncate. Minn., south and southeast.
