Anaphalis margaritacea, Benth. & Hook. A foot or two high, with many corymbose heads, white: Lvs. sessile, linear- lanceolate, long-pointed: involucre pearly white, hence the value of the plant as an everlasting. N. Amer. and Asia.—The plant from Asia, with yellow fls., is perhaps better referred to A. cinnamomea, Clarke, but is hardly separable from the type. It is offered as a yellow everlasting.
