Artemisia arborescens, Linn. Shrubby, 1-2 ft., the sts. erect and angled: foliage finely dissected, silvery white, the upper Lvs. almost sessile, the lower petiolate: fls. in somewhat 1-sided racemes, bright yellow. Medit. region.—Hardy only as far north as Washington, D. C.
