Brunella grandiflora, Jacq. (B. pyrenctica, Phillipe). Lys. often toothed, especially at the base: corolla over 1 in. long, more than twice as long as the calyx. Eu. B.M. 337.—Perhaps the best of the garden kinds. Var. alba, Hort. Fls. pure white.
