Callistemon coccineus, Muell. Similar to C. lanceolatus but lvs. smaller, 1 – 1 1/2 in. long, pungently acute; midrib and nerve-like margins prominent but lateral veins inconspicuous: stamens 3/4 - 1 in. long, red, with yellow anthers: fr. strongly contracted at summit. Austral.
