Cotyledon Umbilicus, Linn. (Umbilicus pendulinus, DC.). Pennywort. Navelwort. Perennial, 6-12 in. high in flower, simple or slightly branched, leafy at base: radical and lower lvs. fleshy, orbicular, crenate, more or less peltate: fls. yellowish green, pendulous, in a raceme; calyx very small; corolla cylindrical. ¼in. long but somewhat enlarging, with 5 short teeth.—On rocks and walls, W. Eu. Adaptable in rock-gardens.
