Cyperus adenophorus, Schrad. About 2 ft. high: culm glabrous: lvs. shorter than the culm, linear, carinate: umbel 9-14-rayed; umbellules 6-9-rayed; rays 10-20-spiked; spikelets linear-lanceolate, many-fld., 3 lines long, the infl. whitish green: fr. obovate, 3-angled punctate-scabrous. Brazil.—Useful for pots.
