Dianthus viscidus, Bory & Chaub. Cespitose, pubescent and sticky, about 12 in., simple: lvs. linear, acuminate, soft, plane, 1-3-nerved: fls. 3-6 in a fascicle, the petals purple-spotted, the blade obovate-cuneate and few-toothed. Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey. —Runs into several marked forms. CH
