Eriodictyon (woolly net. referring to the under surface of the lvs.). Hydrophyllaceae. Four species and many varieties (see Brand in Engler's Pflanzenreich, hft. 59, 1913) of shrubs of Calif. and the Great Basin, with alternate coriaceous entire lvs., and white, purple or blue fls. in scirpioid cymes.
