Eucalyptus decipiens, Endl. Straggly shrub, or tree to 70 ft.: bark rough, persistent, fragile: Lvs. ovate to lanceolate. 2¼-4½ in. long, seldom over ¾ in. wide: peduncles ¼-½ in. long; pedicels 0; lid conical, often twice aa long as calyx-tube; anthers very small, globular, opening py pores which become longitudinal slits: fr. broadly turbinate or globose, 3-4 lines across; valves awl- shaped.
