Genipa clusiifolia, Griseb. A shrub 4-10 ft. in the wild, not so large in cult.: lvs. 4 in. or less long, black when dried, obovate, glabrous: corymbs short-peduncled; calyx-limb 5-cut, the pedicels as long as the calyx; corolla glabrous, the tube nearly as long as the lobes: berry ovoid. W. Indies.
