Geranium collinum, Steph. (G. londesii, Fisch.). St. angular and usually decumbent, grooved and hairy: lvs. palmately 5-parted, deeply divided and cut: sepals lanceolate-ovate, 3-neryed, densely hairy; petals entire, purple, with a tinge of violet. June. July. E. Eu.—One of the showiest in its season. Should be cut back before seeding, to induce second bloom. CH The above text is from the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture.
