Hippeastrum blumenavia (Griffinia blumenavia, Koch & Bouche). Bulb ovoid: lvs. 4-5 in. long, cuneately narrowed to a petiole, shorter than the blade: scape 6-8 in. long; pedicels ½ in. long; stamens as long as the perianth. B.M. 5666 (veins rose-colored). R.H. 1867:32. Gn. 50:208 (veined and flushed with rose). CH
