Inula ensifolia, Linn. (I. bubonium, Hort.). St. about 2 ft., simple: lvs. with numerous somewhat parallel nerves, narrowly linear-lanceolate: fls. large, yellow, the involucral parts appressed, not spreading. Eu., N. Asia. G.M. 41:559.—July, Aug. Rockery plant; blooms first year from seed if sown early.
