Leontopodium sibiricum, Cass. Stem simple, bearing numerous oblong-linear, often webby leaves: flowers. borne in a densely corymbose cluster, white, and nearly twice the size of the preceding. Russia. Can be grown roadily at much lower elevations than L. alpinum. Leontopodium japonicum, Miq. (Gnaphalium Sieboldianum, Franch. & Sav.). Fls.-heads looser: leaves shining dark green above, underneath silvery. CH
