Lonicera bella, Zabel (L. Morrowii x L. tatarica). Upright shrub with spreading branches: branchlets usually slightly pubescent: lvs.ovate to ovate-oblong, obtusish or acute, usually truncate at the base, slightly pubescent beneath or nearly glabrous, 1-2 in. long: peduncles about ½ in. long; bractlets nearly orbicular to ovate, one-half to three-fourths as long as ovary; corolla about ½ in. long, white to pink, with spreading lobes, the outer lobes of the upper lip free to the base: fr. red. May, June; fr. in July, Aug. Garden origin.
