Mammillaria candida, Scheidw. (M. sphaerotricha, Lem.). At length cespitose, globose, becoming longer: vertex depressed: axils setose: radial spines bristle-like, more than 50, horizontal and interwoven; inner spines, 8, 10 12, or more, a little stouter and upright: fls. flesh-color or pinkish.
